Intel's Wireless Display Technology

Do you want connect you  laptop to your HDTV? Do want to get rid of HDMI cables?  Intel has made this connectivity very easy. Intel introduce its new wireless display at CES, Las Vegas.
Many companies are providing their services for wireless display connectivity through wireless usb products.
Wireless display is nothing. Intel has integrated it WiDi in laptops which will operate through a receiver. Netgear is the company which is manufacturing the receiver. This receiver can be connected to a HDTV through HDMI cable or RCA. Laptop will pair itself with the receiver to extend you laptop display to your HDTV. Currently WiDi technology is provided in Toshiba laptops and Sony Vaio series.
But there are some limitations of WiDi technology. For instance if you want to watch your i tunes play list or a DVD that covers copyright, you won't be able to watch it on your HDTV.
Advantage of this technology is security. you can protect your connectivity through four digit code.
