Giant social network Facebook and McAfee security are taking a big step toward future. McAfee will provide free security software form millions of facebook users to secure their account and securely share information across facebook users.
Its a six month complimentary subscription for facebook users. 350 million users will avail this facility. After six months users will be provided a discount priced subscription to fight against security threats, viruses and online attacks.
To qualify for the offer user has to subscribe to McAfee's page on facebook. On the other hand facebook is providing security for its users also. Its for those who haven't secured their account. Changing account setting can make an account more secure even its hacked.
Though most of the users don't have an updated security software and firewall enabled systems for online use which cause their account to hit security threats across different social networks. McAfee internet security suite will be initially available to facebook users in U.S., UK, Australia, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
