"https" access for G mail

After security breach in china Google has enabled https access for its free web mail service "G mail". Security attack in China was to gain access to Chinese activists email accounts and passwords. The option "https" was enabled and recommended in 2008 by Google for its users but later it was turned off by default.
Now Google has again enabled "always use https" by default to enhance security and privacy of its users. Google Apps users whose admins have not already defaulted their entire domains to https will have the same option.
